No matter the size of your school garden space, whether it’s a garden bed, raised beds or a paved area with pots, EcoNest Education can assist with creating a sensory garden utilising Australian native plants. Under the guidance of our experienced educator, students will have the opportunity to be involved at every step to create their Australian native garden, learning about the unique characteristics and uses of each plant along the way.

This program has the potential to run over multiple session.
Each week we explore a new gardening theme or concept, get to work, use new skills and improve your school!
Timeframe 30 minute engaging session where children learn about a new concept using displays and materials to engage and inform. 1 hour gardening session where we plant, prune, weed, fertilise and much more. There is always jobs to be done and seasonal changes to explore!
Package includes a selection of Australian native plants custom picked to suit your school grounds.
Our aged care incursion package can be customised to include:

Anna is dedicated to environmental education and endeavors to instill a deep respect for our natural environment and the Australian bush. With over 10 years experience as a primary school teacher and environmental educator Anna hopes to further inspire children, students, teachers and the community with EcoNest Education.
We take a holistic approach to environmental education, addressing an understanding of ecosystems and how we can protect and aid in enhancing them. Our programs are designed with current NSW curriculum outcomes for K-6 and the Early Years Learning Framework. Contact us for a full program outline for our incursions.

Each sign has an explanation of the plants usage that is relatable and its flowering/fruiting time. The sign is printed on aluminium composite panel making them durable and long lasting for outdoor use. A galvanised steel stake is fastened to it to allow easy placement in any pot or garden bed.
